We know how everyone loves a good old fashioned fued, so here is another one of our favorite college rivalries. Ever hear of "The Red River Rivalry"? It's a vehement conflict between the University of Texas Longhorns and the University of Oklahoma Sooners that has been going on since 1900. The series is considered one of the greatest rivalries in American sports!

This rivalry between Texas & Oklahoma is one the few college rivalries that play out on a neutral field. Both The Longhorns and The Sooners play in Dallas, which is is exactly halfway between the two schools campuses in Austin, Texas and Norman, Oklahoma. Each year, the winning team earns not only bragging rights, but The Golden Hat Trophy along with ownership of the Red River until the following year's match.
